Our founder, @craig_pankhurst, is getting his runn Our founder, @craig_pankhurst, is getting his running shoes on and will be fundraising for A Stroke of Luck by running his FIRST-EVER marathon this year at the Manchester Marathon! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’¨

"Some will know I have had a background in sport, but since retiring from swimming in 2002, in pursuit of business success, I did not look after my physical wellbeing. This culminated in my stroke in 2018. From being a very healthy swimmer, I became the ultimate sedentary male weighing over 18 stone.

With my health in a much better place, I have decided to take on a big challenge: my first ever marathon. Over the next nine months, I will be aiming to get into good shape and will be training hard and focused on my nutrition.

I would welcome any support, be it via donation or just a "good luck" message. The money I raise will be used to create more stroke-specific exercise video content for stroke survivors in their life after stroke."

Best of luck, Craig - we're all rooting for you! If you'd like to support Craig, please head over to his #JustGiving page - link in bio!
