Ian Marray – Trustee

Ian’s professional career started as a Chemical Engineering Apprentice with Shell UK. The skills and knowledge garnered over the course of his Apprenticeship enabled Ian to facilitate a transition in to the family business where his aptitude for relationship driven sales resulted in Ian leading the family business to a multi-million-pound exit in 2012.

As serial entrepreneurs, Ian and his brother formed a start-up company in 2015 in the manufacturing and distribution of engineering consumables. Utilising their previous client base, the company has gone from strength to strength.

In addition to Ian’s engineering background, he is also an accomplished chef. In 2018, Ian formed his first pop-up street food concept which starts trading in the summer of 2019.

Ian’s passion to support A Stroke of Luck comes from his friendship with Craig. Ian has been a constant support in Craig’s recovery and rehabilitation. The aims and objectives of the charity are a great match with the values Ian holds.
